Location
This is one of the projects financed by the German emergency loan for the reconstruction of the Iraqi provinces affected by terrorist events. Its total length is approximately 100 km for the round trip, with 50 km for each direction and a width ranging from 8-12 meters.
The project includes removing the damaged asphalt layers down to the stabilized gravel base, treating irregularities with milling, and resurfacing using polymer-modified asphalt. It also involves landscaping, planning, and installing various types of traffic signs.
