Rehabilitation of the Kirkuk-Baghdad-Diyala Road - Projects for the entrances to the capital..

It is one of the most important vital and strategic projects for the roads and bridges sector in the province as it connects the northern provinces to the central and southern provinces via Diyala province. Its completion will contribute to stimulating economic and commercial activity as a main passage for the commercial exchange route with Iran through the Mandali border crossing, as well as serving the areas surrounding the Hamrin Lake basin.

The Lake Hamrin Bridge project is one of the largest bridges in Iraq, with a total bridge length including approaches from both sides of 7200 meters, a width of 12 meters, and foundations dug to a depth of 27.5 meters with a diameter of 1.5 meters.
